What Does "Holistic" Mean?
Put simply, holistic means treating the whole person rather than just individual symptoms. We aim to help you reach overall mind & body wellness!
Individual Therapy
People do individual therapy for a number of reasons! We have professionals on staff that can use a variety of therapeutic tools to help with things like anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, trauma and more.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is an opportunity to work on yourself while also strengthening your relationship with your partner. Relationships are so important, but as busy adults they often get pushed to the side. A therapist can help you see both points of view from an outside, professional perspective and help you work toward a stronger relationship.
Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
PCIT is an evidence-based treatment program designed for caregivers and their young children who are experiencing social, behavioral, and/or emotional difficulties. PCIT can help with families with children experiencing frequent temper tantrums, defiance, verbal or physical aggression, hyperactivity, difficulty with behavior, and more. It can also help strengthen family relationships, teach families how to better resolve conflicts, and more.
Play Therapy
In this form of therapy, a therapist encourages a child to explore life events that may have an effect on current circumstances. Both play and language are used. Play therapy creates a safe place for children to express their feelings and thoughts, and to work through different emotions. During a session, a child may be asked to draw a certain scenario, use dolls to re-enact a family situation, etc. This can help children alleviate anxiety, learn to respect others, learn how to express their feelings, it can help strengthen family relationships, and more.
Medication Management
Studies show that some mental health symptoms are often due to a chemical imbalance in the brain. Medications can be used, if needed, to help balance these chemicals which in turn helps regulate emotions.
Teletherapy
You don't live in town, or you don't have time to get here? No worries! We always offer appointments via teletherapy, or video chat.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)
Based on the theory that traumatic events aren’t properly processed in the brain when they happen, EMDR Therapy helps “reprocess” a disturbing memory to help you move past it by thinking about a traumatic event while the therapist uses certain eye movements and makes rhythmic tapping sounds. This service cannot be offered via teletherapy.

Holly Bulver is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who understands how difficult it can be to ask for or to seek help, especially when it comes to mental health. She strongly advocates to end this stigma. Using a nonjudgmental approach, Holly understands that no two stories are alike, and each individual is unique. She incorporates you into your treatment decisions. Using a holistic approach to her treatments, if medication is needed her goal is to use the least amount possible at the lowest effective dose, but she understands the importance of using mental health medications when needed. When it comes to her therapy approach, she is solution-focused and uses CBT, a talk-based therapy that helps you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way. By looking at other natural interventions such as lifestyle, diet, exercise, sleep and even our bodies' vitamin deficiencies, Holly can work with you to get you on the path to wellness.
Holly enjoys working with all ages including individuals, couples, and families using various treatment techniques and modalities. She especially enjoys working with children and adolescents. For the past 5 years she has worked as a mental health nurse encountering a variety of diagnoses across the lifespan.
